📖 Read: A picnic by the river أقرأ

Last Sunday, the Ben Salah family went on a picnic. In the morning, everybody got ready. Dad put the food in a big basket. Mum took a blanket and some water. Lina packed her skipping rope and Karim took his ball and his kite.

They drove to a river near Béja. When they arrived, the children ran to the water. They washed their hands and sat on the grass. They ate sandwiches, salad and sweet watermelon.

After lunch, Lina and her cousin Nour did rope skipping. Karim wanted to fly a kite, but there was no wind! So he played football with Dad. In the evening, the children were tired but happy. Their picnic was perfect!
